It's senior season!

I'm looking for a good looking Class of '08 senior to be plastered all over my promotional materials. (I know, sounds like fun, right? *wink*) If you know of anyone who might be interested, the lucky guy or girl gets a free session and 10% off prints. I've got a couple of really fun ideas, including heading into the city for some urban shots, hopping on the railroad tracks and perhaps heading out to one of Berks' parks for more traditional shots. I'm also highlighting my senior coffee table books. They're 20 pages in a 10x10 size and are a unique way to showcase senior portraits--kind of like a personal yearbook--and I design it customized for each senior. It can be personalized with favorite memories, lyrics, poems, or whatever to remember the high school years, or just keep it simple and let the photos shine! Plus, I'll grab a few shots of each senior with his/her best friends during the shoot to include as special extras in the book. I'm offering a cool $50 savings on the 10x10 book just for seniors now through August 31st.

Senior sessions include outfit and location changes--go natural and conduct outdoors at one of Berks' pristine parks, or get grungy and we'll head downtown for a more urban feel. Glam it up or keep it formal with indoor shoots on backgrounds. It's up to you (and your parents, of course. :)

Email me at jennifer@jenniferbretonphotography.com or visit my website for more info and savings for all senior sessions under my "specials" section.

Portraits in the Park #4

Sweet and spice and everything nice? Absolutely. But almost-2-year olds are made of piggytails and endless bounds of energy and curiosity. I won't tell anyone if you won't that she's hiding a fishy cracker in her mouth and is sitting so high that she can't get down--and that's the only way you get an adorable almost-2-year-old to sit still and smile. And when it does--wow.

What a busy weekend! Thanks to everyone who helped close out my official "introductory" period. (And please bear with me as I may be taking a tiny bit longer to get your galleries online--I'm a little swamped, but working hard to proof your sessions timely.) Thanks for your understanding and patience. :)

Portraits in the Park #2

Can you tell how much she's loved?

Portraits in the Park #1

From my morning session. I don't know why, but I always love the serious ones.

Green polka dots & black and white

And she's certainly thinking pink!
Although this was only my second maternity shoot, I love doing these sessions and seeing the beautiful bellies. I think this is such an interesting trend in photography--I love that we're celebrating and capturing the beauty of impending motherhood. It's sexy, it's ultra feminine, and it's so unbelieveably special.

She's due on June 7th, and absolutely glows.

Maybe the one for above the mantle?

Just one more from yesterday's session.

Probably not the one for above the mantle, but...

The pictures are still being downloaded to my computer, but as soon as this one popped up on my screen, I couldn't resist it. Does it not capture them perfectly?

Loose tooth and curls

What awesome kids. Fun, took direction easily, and beautiful to boot! I had a great time with them today in the awesome weather that we were all sweating since the past month has just been so unspring-like. The other thing we were sweating? F was just about ready to loose his other top tooth and we didn't want it to fall out during the session. I wonder if Tooth Fairy is making the rounds at his house tonight?

Everybody else is doing it, so why can't I?

Welcome to my work blog! Here's the place to check in to see my favorite shots from each session, and a little bit about each of the special people people I get the great honor to photograph. Enjoy!
